With the rise of heated rivalry i had been filming parts of the ice hockey games i had been attending, in hopes of capturing some b-roll to use for a tiktok idea.
The video did extreamly well, with it hitting 1.3million views in 12 hours, and being re-sahred by many NFL meme accounts. This was far bigger than I had imagined.
THE WHY
However, wehn I was filming I the door swung open and I managed to capture the whole thing on my ihpone (perfectly framed). I knew a clip like that would do extreamly well on socials, so added a self-depricting tone of caption and posted.
The hockey team reached out to me to thank me for the content, and we engaged in a fun way online. Then I got invited to meet the team afterwards and we took some photos for theri social media.
